Drum teaching facilities

My teaching facility at home in North Shields, Tyne & Wear, comes equipped with both accoustic and electronic drum kits offering students the opportunity to experience the key differences between the two. It boasts a very nice top of the range Mapex Saturn accoustic kit and the flagship top of the electronic range, Roland TD 20KV electronic drum kit. This is accompanied by a full range Mackie PA system. All of the electronics are fed through the Mackie mixing desk and all hook up via an audio interface with the computer which is capable of recording students performances playing along with the vast array of accompaniment tracks which are becoming ever more widely available and more and more an essential part of developing as a player.

Lounge in comfort

At my home there is a comfortable private waiting area for parents who maybe have travelled some distance. Put your feet up and have yourself a Tea/Coffee maybe watch some TV or read a book.

Criminal Records Bureau checked

Through my work in schools I have frequent CRB checks which are available upon request for your peace of mind. I also invite parents to sit in on lessons if they wish. This can prove quite useful particularly for younger children.
